It made sense though, How else could you comfort someone with lung cancer? He had been homeschooled since he could remember until he finally decided to try something new. His life was already complicated enough with overprotective parents and cancer eating away at his lungs. He didn't think that it could possibly get any worse until he enters eleventh grade for the first time and meets a cocky guy named, Wade Wilson."
This fanfiction takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. Basically, this is an AU where no one is a superhero and Peter is the adopted son of Steve and Tony. He's been suffering through lung cancer since he was a little kid and he finally decides to quit homeschooling and try out highschool. He makes some friends and meets Wade Wilson. 

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD

In this fanfic, Peter and Wade begin dating. When Peter takes Wade to meet his parents and explains to them that he's dating Wade, Tony becomes very upset. He references past sexual abuse and says that Wade is just "using Peter". He then proceeds to give Peter the silent treatment and leads to some not so very good thoughts and such. It's very intense and some of the scenes where Peter is having an anxiety attack or panic attack can also be very intense. Please only read if you can handle that kind of stuff.
